Keys of Hope began the summer of my 9th grade when I began to think about how to help children who had never experienced playing the piano, and whether I could be useful teaching them basic tunes and songs. I took a keyboard for them to keep and practice on, and developed a color-dot system to help them learn. By the end of an hour class all the children I worked with could read the notes and play “Happy Birthday”. I realized I knew quite a few students who, after years of lessons, might want to also give back to their communities and help others learn.

With their encouragement I created this platform, where I try to link eager young musicians across Jordan, excited to learn, with more experienced pianists, able to volunteer their time and teach them.
